Steel structures for general building construction in Turkey

4 sports halls for the 2017 Asian Olympic Games in Turkmenistan.

After successfully completing the production, delivery and assembly of 2000 tons of steel for Ashgabat Airport in Turkmenistan on behalf of the construction giant POLIMEKS, ZECEL was able to acquire another major customer that has established itself quite strongly in Turkmenistan.

We are talking about ALKAR, one of the major players in the construction industry and also one of the largest building materials dealers in Turkmenistan.

The special feature of this project is the roof construction of the 4 sports halls with a free span of 58 m.

25 curved 3-point tubular trusses, which in turn consist of 4 segments 3.2 m high, 1.7 m wide and between 14 and 15.5 m long, were assembled to form a single element with a span of 58 m.

Steel structures of approx. 2400 tons were manufactured and assembled for this purpose.
