Education for a better future
Kindergarten project in Arusha, Tanzania
By mid-2026, a kindergarten will be built in Arusha (Tanzania ) for around 100 children – girls and boys who are growing up in a region where poverty determines the everyday lives of many families. The project will give them access to education – and thus the chance of a better future.

The Zeman Group is supporting this project with a donation, thereby making an important contribution to financing the kindergarten. The project is initiated and supervised by Deutscher Technologiedienst GmbH (DTD) in cooperation with the association Four Stones for Africa e.V..
The Usambara Sisters, who run educational institutions in the region with great commitment, are responsible for the on-site operation.
The Catholic Church is providing the land. The construction work is proceeding according to plan – and it is already clear how much hope and perspective the project is bringing to the community.
Next destination: A school for Arusha
The construction of an elementary school is planned to follow the kindergarten. With project costs of around 60,000 euros, this next step can be implemented – an important building block for sustainable education and equal opportunities in the region.
Update 07.04.2026: In order to be able to care for the children on site in the long term and to make the transition to elementary school easier, it was decided to extend the building by one floor. This means that there will soon be both a kindergarten and an elementary school at this location.
We want to spread this commitment and encourage other companies to get involved too. Every donation counts and goes directly to the local project. You can find the necessary information here:
