Steel building prize for PEM Ukraine

The Ukranian Company of Zeman Group “PEM Ukraine Ltd.” has received the Steel Building Prize 2016 of the Ukrainian Steel Building Union for the best Project in the category “Efficient application of bearing steel structures”. 

The building of the restaurant “Yurt” in Kazakhstan with a diameter of 36m was developed in the traditional style of the nomadic peoples of Kazakhstan.

For the first time frame structures made of SIN-beams (corrugated web beams) with variable cross sections were used in Kazakhstan. Rational design and the use of SIN-beams in frames and purlins have reduced the consumption of steel by more than 2 times in comparison with the project, made in the traditional lattice structures.
