Zekon manufactures and assembles CO₂-reduced crane runway girders

New crane runway girders are being installed in voestalpine’s cold rolling mill 1. The voestalpine Steel & Service Center GmbH cutting centre is producing 550 tonnes of heavy plate parts from CO₂-reduced greentec steel, which Zekon Sp. z o.o. will process and assemble into modern, high-performance crane runway girders.

• 550 tonnes of precision-cut steel sheets are processed into crane girders
• Use of greentec steel Edition, saving 121 tonnes of CO₂e
• Zekon products have EPD certification for greater environmental transparency
