Gold in the combination: ZEKON/ZECEL/ZECO. Extensive production and delivery of steel structures for the cement construction industry to EUROPE and AFRICA.

Thanks to the cooperation between the two production facilities Zeman Celik and Zekon Spolka, the steel structures for the manufacture of five cement plants were successfully delivered to France and Africa on behalf of CEMTEC within six months.

While the delivery to Le Havre (France) was made by road, the delivery to Africa posed a major challenge. 90% of the total order volume had to be transported in 780 containers via international ocean shipping routes to Ghana, Mali, Mauritania and Chad.

The two production sites in Poland and Turkey each demonstrated their logistical expertise by loading components that were unsuitable for container transportation as efficiently as possible. Controlling and a highly structured approach to project management on the part of Zeman & Co in Vienna made it possible to provide comprehensive information at all times to the parties involved in the five construction projects to be delivered in parallel.

With this construction project, the Zeman Group demonstrated its problem-solving expertise in production and project management. For the first time, a project of this size was handled in accordance with the guidelines for the international movement of goods overseas.
