The “Twist” is a free-form load-bearing composite steel structure that dominates the three-story foyer. This construction consists of curved steel pipes, which, in combination with reinforced concrete and foam elements, form a hybrid load-bearing structure. The composite steel beams extend from the first to the third floor, while the exterior ... round pipe facade supports and the plaster strip construction complement the external structure. Zeman & Co was responsible for the steel construction.
