Work carried out: Wave-shaped, geometrically complex dome structure made of welded tubular profiles supporting triangular glass panes; steel construction for the “drum”: erection of the scaffolding, factory pre-assembly, assembly on site. Glass construction including grouting.

For the construction of the steel nodes, Waagner-Biro developed the technology that was already used in the construction of the roof of the Great Court in the British Museum. The use of this innovative technology has created an architectural landmark whose elegance is unique in the country.
