The expansion and renovation of the Zillertal thermal spa was a comprehensive project that included steel construction and solid timber elements. Approximately 300 tonnes of galvanized steel structures were used as the supporting structure. Additionally, a solid wood ceiling of approx. 1000 m² with a thickness ranging from 14 cm ... to 32 cm was integrated. The combination of steel and wood elements required precise planning and execution.
