The filigree tower of the Bauhaus-Archiv | Museum für Gestaltung in Berlin – characterized by the combination of the building materials steel, glass and wood – would not have been feasible at the time of Walter Gropius, the founder of the most important school of architecture, design and art of the 20th century.
