The „Sustainability Pavilion E-Trees“ are solar trees, lined with solar panels harnessing the sun’s energy. The 18 trees with a height varying between 10 to 15 meters rotate to follow the movement of the sun to maximize the solar energy capture. They are part of the Sustainability Pavilion at EXPO ... 2020 in Dubai. Waagner Biro steel and glass designed and built the steel trunks and hubs with state of the art 3D modelling software to optimise the tolerances and co-ordinate the movement.
